About this engagement

We are recruiting on behalf of a US-based startup in the video and audio streaming space. This is a senior technical role with high ownership and direct impact. The position is part-time and remote-first, with the potential to scale to full-time at a later stage.

Open position

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in backend development, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure. The right candidate is a strong generalist who owns complex components end-to-end in a fast-moving environment. The primary stack is Go (with C/C++ and Rust for performance-critical paths), deployed on Kubernetes across AWS and GCP using Pulumi. The product operates in the video streaming domain; no prior media experience is required, though as you grow into the role, there will be natural opportunities to develop familiarity with real-time media systems if that interests you.
